Your Shower........

My MOH asked me if theres anything specific I want for my shower...but I'm completely blank on anything I want really.

Is there anything specific you would like to see at your shower???

ETA: for real I said NO GAMES! I did hint that having it outside at a winery would be awesome. I love going to them, and I think it would just be a really pretty setting. Plus I have nothing outdoors for the wedding day.

i asked for NO games and if possible, i would prefer to have the gifts come unwrapped, i know that sounds crazy, but so much paper is wasted.

i requested it to be at night and i also told them i did not want a traditional wishing well... something fun and different instead! oh, i also asked them not to do bingo and word scramble! LOL

i want a wishing well and i also want to get that gift where you put the lingerie on the clothes line..I think that's so cute!

I also said NO games. But I did tell my mom if she has to have games, I'll only consent to Bridal Bingo.

I asked for it to be relatively casual, possibly at my sister's house (which is huge and of course can hold well over 100 people, lol). I also told my mom I want some sort of a wishing well.

I asked that t be more of a party than a shower and I want live entertainment. Maybe a dancer or singer or something. I also need it to reflect my Divaliciousness...lol

I also do not want any games , I did not do any at my sisters baby shower and we still had a lot of fun and I really want my whole china set, dyson ball and kitchen aid mixer and I will be happy everything else I can get Fh to buy me

Well since I am out of state, I told them to make sure they put mail me all the presants! LOL. I promised my mother that i wouldnt open anything, and that i would just stack it all in my spare room and then take a picture right before i leave for ny.

Oddly enough, I don't want purple lol. I'm having purple EVERYWHERE at the wedding and I want my shower to be something different. I'm ok with pink and teal colors. I think that's it.

My friend did this and on the invitation it read 'Be a dear - wrap in clear.'

well i did say that too...it takes forever to open up the gifts...and as someone who has been to a ton of bridal showers, honestly, i don't like just sitting there watching the bride open each gift. at least this way i have more time to talk with each guest. -jmo

this was the best shower i ever went too! they wrote that on the invite and didn't have the bride open each gift, they displayed all of them and the bride only opened up gifts from the bridal party and parents. it was a really good idea!

I actually did this for my baby shower. I made sure I told my sister to make sure she tells the guests to send the gifts to to our home in FL. It worked out really well and My doorbell rang like everyday with packages from UPS.
