I wanted Spring and it would be cheaper having it one week before so April it was.

When we decided to push it back.. i looked at the calendar and saw our anniversary was on a saturday.. so thats why we chose our date now

Well I originally wanted to get married in October, but he proposed in Sept and I didn't want to wait two years, but couldn't pull it off in one year.
So, we decided to go with Spring of 08, at our hall April and May were the same price, so I figured I would go with May, it had to be a Sunday because that was the only day we could afford and the 11th is Mothers Day and I thought that would be weird, the 18th is the day before my birthday and i thought that would also be weird and the 25th was memorial day SO we went with the 4th!

our 7 year anniversary is .07.01.08. which is a Tuesday.

so we decided to have the wedding the Friday before so that we will be on our anniversary for our honeymoon.

and we will get to celebrate both dates in one trip possibly each year.

we will be on our HM for our dating anniversary too!

same here!! extra nite of celebrating on the HM
our anniversary is on may 23, and we didnt want a holiday weekend so we chose the sat. before!

We both work in schools, so July was our first choice, and I didn't want to go to far into july because I didn't want it to be too hot. We originally wanted 7/11, but decided to do it 7/12/08...it is actually my mom's 50th birthday, and she is excited!!

i wanted may b/c spring is my favorite season. we realized that may 25th was the sunday before memorial day, and since most people have off that day, it's like a sat night wedding for a sunday night price...so we grabbed it!!

I don't have a specific reason. I always thought I wanted the fall but with FH's job we were best to avoid that time of year. After that, we liked spring, and April is more affordable than May/June!

That and we wanted a June wedding, and we both wanted to be done with school first.

our 8 year anniversary is the thursday before.. and the day i wanted ot get married.. but my fam wasnt up for a thursday night wedding.. except fmil who thought it was great cause it was cheap..ugghh- like shes paying for it anyway.. soo any way.. well be having our RD on our 8 year anniversary.. and were getting married sat the 16th..

we choose Aug 9 because...

FH's bday is Aug 6 and mine is Aug 11. We thought it would be really nice to get married in the middle of both our bdays. So on the day of our wedding FH will have just turned 29 and I will still be 28 until 2 days later.

we figure in the future we could always plan a trip and celebrate our bdays and anniversary all together!

plus we both work in schools and we are off in the summer.

I chose July 14th because I wanted a date that I wasnt going to have my period BUT it turns out I am going to get it around the 14th..so now i have to go on BC

We chose our date because I would just be finishing a semester of grad school and I would have all summer to get into married life and work before i get into a school!

We wanted to get married in the summer because hopefully I'll be teaching by then. That was the first available date during the summer of '08 at Russo's, so we booked.

I wanted 6-7-08 but our hall was already booked......they had a few dates in may open so i liked the way 5-24-08 sounded the best...

ummm dunno. we just liked the date of 5-03-08 then we found out after we booked that it was my uncle juniors bday. he passed away a few years ago so we will definatly be having a drink for him. we were gonna do feb. or march but we had that fear of god forbid we have a blizzard or heavy snow and people cant make it due to the weather. then we would get stuck paying for people that might not show up

a few reasons i guess
i love the winter
work in school so i have to go around school vacations - i dont like the summer and this summer would have been too soon (rushed) and next summer too long of an engagement (we're old LOL) so it was perfect for us!!!
