Your wedding extras...Must Have List

Hi Girls,
Besides the main wedding things...what extras must you have?

I want to get started with planning all the 'details' and need some ideas.

Not sure yet. My reception and CH are coming with what I would call some extras already, or at least things we were very glad were included in our base price (more menu options, stations, etc.)

The extras so far:

A bit higher end on Photog than I had planned
Pics at OWG
My dress . . . also a bit more than my original budget
Our hotel stay (Garden City Hotel, LOVE IT!!!)

I'm thinking of getting a custom cake, but I'll decide after my tasting at Erga's, and the rest will come as the ideas (and money, god willing) come to me!!

love it. My sister is getting it for her wedding so its off limits to me. We are getting married 4 months apart so it wouldn't be fair- It is such a great idea.

Some things we are having / looking into:

Jazz quartet during CH (booked)

Would love the Royal Brass for when guests arrive at Church or RH

Highly doubtful but the thought of a horse & carriage did come up in conversation

Some DIY projects such as:
Table numbers
Menus
Bathroom baskets
(Even if the RH provides these, I think I will opt to do my own).

I don't plan on upgrading the food much, if at all.

hmmm...

prob will be doing bathroom baskets even if rh does them
we have 2 photogs instead of 1
i want to do a grooms cake-but i may do this for the rehearsal dinner..not sure yet
possibly a chocolate fountain

not too much yet-im sure more idea will pop up soon...whats a champagne march?????????

1. small candy favors (besides the main one)
2. rhinestome cake topper
3. customized aisle runner
4. making my own decorated place cards (instead of using the ones from RH)

i feel like most of the things i want for this wedding are extras

Right now... my extra is Fireworks.
FH loves them!!!!!

Fireworks for us too, as well as too much money spent on flowers, candy station, sushi bar, martini luge, violinist, and other fun details!

I cant wait till it all comes together!!!

My new extra is...two dresses....lol.

I want one for our beach morning ceremony and another for our reception in the evening. My rationale is I can't find a dress appropriate for both....lol.

We added Pat Davis for our precussionist, club light package, and Hummer limo.

I'm thinking about adding Corona for our beer selection, and maybe a roast suckling pig. FH's family would love it.

For CH- martini louge, passed martinis/champagne, mashed potatoe bar
For Dessert: ice cream bar, chocolate fountain
Wine on the tables
chair covers

Full band, and CH musicians
Wine bottle favors
Hummer Limo
Shuttle for guests to and from hotel

Might also upgrade with more seafood options or a candy bar!!

Don't feel bad....Our extras haven't even been totaled up yet...we are going to be in for a rude awakening next year....lol.

I've seen a Champagne March done only once...at the Fox Hollow. Basically, the waiting staff marches in with white gloves and champagne...walks around the room pouring it in everyones glasses and then lines up for the toasts to begin. It was very impressive. It looked very dramatic! Out of all of the halls we visited, none mentioned they offer this service.
