yoyr guests sharing thier photos

Original post by kjzimpel

I love the idea of doing the whole photo sharing website after the wedding......do you just create an account and give everyone the username and password or do they create an account??

Also, how did you tell your guests that you were doing this???

Tia!!!

Yes you can - I just found this in the FAQ

Can I order prints directly from the WeddingTurtle website?
Yes! Just click on the 'Order Print' button that is displayed to the right of each picture. We've partnered with Fotomoto to provide the prints, and their print quality is much better than your standard online print vendor. Give them a try!

Yep I found it too after I posted it. lol. But 99 cents seems a little pricey for a 4x6 print. What do most other photo sites run to print pictures?

Is that how much they are?? Yes that does seem pricey....I am not sure but I was thinking snap fish was like 15 cents or something.....I will have to look into that....I never even thought about checking into the prices before deciding what site to us....Thanks for bringing that up!

Let me know when you find out!

I just spoke to my friend who does photography on the side....and she has done research with prices/quality of pictures, and she recommended Snapfish.com

Ohhh really? Perfect...that's where I have it set up as of now. Good. Thanks for looking into it!

if you give your guests the link, do they have to have a snapfish account to upload to the site?

I am not sure, but even if they have to register Its only a couple of things to fill in, but not 100% sure. Good question though.

And I just ordered my e-pics off snapfish, and they are for sure cheaper than 99 cents. I had a deal 99 pics for 99 cents, and just paid for tax and shipping. Great deal!!! I don't remember the exact price, but it was under 99 cents per 4x6 photo

I made up a user name (which is an email addres that I made up solely for this through gmail) and password (our wedding date) and made a snapfish account that way. This way, there's only one album in the account for people to upload their pictures too.

And like it was said before, if people do it, great, if not, the postcards were free from vistaprint so no real money lost!!
