What a wonderful Christmas present for you and the boys!!!

They(agency) have my homestudy via email, to look over and make sure our social worker got all the info they require, my husband had his physical and so the study should be completed, notarized and we are ready....My guess is the agency will have the notarized copy by next week, but our social worker is going to fax it to them , so that we can place a 'hold' on the boys..maybe tomorrow I will know for sure!! Hopefully noone will jump in and adopt my boys...I am so close to getting them...I dont know what to do with myself, every hour feels like an eternity...Ive never been through anything like this...this si crazy! Ive definately figured out the key to weight loss, go through the adoption process..Ive lost so much weight from stress, not sleeping, my skinny pants dont even fit me! A friend asked me if I was bulimic!!! AHHHHH..Nope..I eat, alot..Im just STRESSED!

You probably posted this before, so I am sorry if this is a repetitive questions, but what happens when the children are on hold? Why do they have them on hold for a few months before they can come live with you?

WE are homestudy approved!!!!! YEA!!! The agency read overe evrythinga nd said it looks good! Now Im just waiting for their files, to view their medical reports and its done!! YEA!!!
Aliking..what happens is now we have to file though Immigration, which takes another 6-8 weeks, we have to get fingerprinted again and petition to bring the children into our country. then all of our apostilled paperwork gets sent to Ethiopia and it has to get processed there, which takes anywhere from four months to 8 months, lately it has been closer to four months. In the meantime..I can write to them and send them pictures and small gifts and they can write to me...I wish they could come sooner..but realistically..I need to SAVE lots of money before they come so that I can buy them bikes and clothes and games, etc! I am soooooooooooo excited..I feel like Im in a dream!

CONGRATS! i am SO happy that things are moving along so smoothly. it is amazing to think that you will be parents of 2 young boys in just a few months.
