Z-100 this morning...

Theres a thread on the 08 boards about this as well.

Honestly I stopped listening to Z100 bc they are so opinionated and one minded its insane.

There was a member of z 100 getting married on Sunday. They were all complaining that they had work the next day, and couldnt believe someone would get married on a sunday...especially in the evening.
Then danielle and greg t were saying that ppl do do friday, sunday or saturday day wedding are just doing it to be cheap and spend less per plate. Gret t also said he wouldnt give the same gift to a person who got married on those days or times.

PPL were calling in upset!

I heard it!!!! I was annoyed but then again they don't have to worry about 'conserving money' like most brides have to .. I mean I 'm having mine on a Friday because I just can't afford a Saturday.. Especially when I have 2 young children..

Wow, I totally missed it this morning. I think that it was very rude of them to say that you should wait until you could afford a saturday night wedding. I also thought it was messed up to say that they put less $$ in the envelope if its a Sunday or Friday wedding. I guess I understand why they were complaining, b.c it is a bit of an inconvenience for guests to attend Fri.night and Sun. night weddings. But the way you guys make it sound is that they were very mean about it. The only reason I am having a Sat. night wedding is b.c I got a great deal on it. Otherwise Sat. afternoon would have been it for me. I wonder what kind of weddings those morons had! Isn't Elvis Fat and single, and Greg T is a loser. Carolina is a money grubbing bimbo and Danielle is probably bored and wanted attention.

whatever, igore them ladies. Your weddings will be fabuluos even if it's on a Tuesday night

I did not hear this in the morning. Stopped listening to Z100 because there is never any music. As far as above goes, when are you supposed to have a wedding if you cannot do it on a friday or a saturday or sunday afternoon or sunday night? Are we all supposed to have saturday night weddings? This is insane.

You know, people do what's best for them, not everyone getting married has the money for a big saturday evening wedding, I've been to weddings on Thursday nights, people do what they can do, who aare THEY to say anything about it, if it's inconvenient, don't go, or foot the bill for a Saturday night wedding....GRRRR I am so sick and tired of people who should just shut up and show up constantly opening their mouths having something to say, it's not your wedding!!!!!!!!!!! Okay...rant over.....

Thats some BS to say that Friday night and Sundays weddings are cheap weddings.

Take it from someone who is getting married on a Sunday night and paying over $160 per plate....
my wedding is far from cheap and I didnt book a Sunday to be cheap, it was a matter of being reasonable.
Did I prefer a Saturday? Yes.
Did I want my RH to be the place? Yes.
Did the price sway me to a Sunday? Yes, because it was a $45 per plate price difference and I could care less what day it was.

Z100s DJs are jerks for even saying anything remotely close to that, theyre offensive

I stopped listening to them because they always seem so damn negative and pretentious. The ones that always make the wedding comments are the ones that aren't even married...Elvis and Carolina. Danielle just tags along with their comments because when you're with a group of ppl that are so negative, you start thinking just like them! Greg T just doesn't know better and everyone else on that show is either cynical or just a hater. I personally can't stand Carolina...she seems like she's educated but the bs that comes out of her mouth...ehhh.

Just because a person doesn't get married on a Saturday doesn't mean they are cheap or CAN'T afford it! I am getting married on a Friday night... I have a guest list that is up to almost 260 people now.. The price difference between Friday and Saturday was over $20 per person before taxes..COULD I afford the extra $$???? Yeah I guess if I REALLY wanted to... Did I feel it was WORTH it? Absolutely not!
If I was having a small wedding I would have definitely done it but I just have way too many people on my list..

Those people are jerks who don't know anything about anything! I don't listen to Z100 but I wish I did today because I would have gotten a kick out of the callers!

yeah, i could have afforded a saturday but i didnt want to - i felt like my reception would be exactly the same no matter what - so why not use that 3-4K and upgrade my photo and video - things that last once the reception is over....its stupid, yes i preferred saturday and i did not want to budge on that but then when we went to book friday made more sense - does a part of me wish that the dome room wasnt booked already for saturday? YES, but who knows, we probably would have booked for friday anyway once we saw it was a little less per person....and i dont think thats cheaping out when you are still paying well over $100 per person
