...did anyone hear them talking about weddings? They were cursing everyone who booked a Sunday or Friday night.. and then there were girls who called in so upset!

I heard the conversation just as I was about to get out of my car at work. I'm getting married on a Sunday and I was proud that it didn't bother me because before we booked I went back and forth about what is more convient for our guests and the wedding party. Finally FH and I realized we had to make a decision based on what we wanted and what was most affordable for us. The people who love us and want to share in our day. We understand there will be some who can't and we're okay with that!!

It is so rude that they would even make comments like that. Some people might want to have a Saturday night wedding but can't afford it. Now hearing negative comments like that on the radio may make them feel bad about having a Friday night or Sunday day wedding. I am getting married on a Monday day (labor day). It was the date we started dating and the date we got engaged, so it was the date we wanted to get married. I am not going to wait 5 years for the date to fall on a Saturday. Most people should be off from work and if they have a problem with that day then they don't have to come. It's about what we want!!!!

I do agree with you guys about getting married any day- and still having a beautiful affair. When planning my wedding I was considering a Friday night- but because I am getting married in the middle of the winter- Saturday night was possibel. I must say that im my opinion I do not loveee going to Sunday night wedding (although I do-and still give the same amount of $$) because I find that I dont have as great of a time, because I feel like I have to get up for work the next morning. REguardless of what the people on Z100 say everyones wedding is going to be beautiful and why care about peoples comments??? You cant always please everybody!

i have never listed to z100 in my life but i just think those people were very rude and ignorant. I am getting married on a Sunday evening and sure the next day is a holiday (Presidents Day) and most of my guests don't have to work the next day. But by no means was that the reason i boked for that day. It just so happened to work out that way. Why pay almost double or triple for the a RH just to have it on a Saturday evening when i can get the same things if not more just for going a day later or earlier. I am not knocking anyone who chose Saturdays because when we first started looking for RH we wanted a Saturday evening. But when the BM at the RH started showing us the different in prices for the different days and months we then made our decision. I am getting married at Fox HOllow 2/15/09 and am paying $55pp. The place is beautiful and were getting a lot for the price. Whereas when we wanted to get married back in 9/15/07(Saturday night) they quoted me $105pp and had to guarantee 110 people. So i'll be one of those inconsiderate people who gets married on a Sunday....no one else is paying for it!!!
