Hmmmm I guess they'd complain about the 8pm+ ceremony start time we would have needed if we did a Sat night (I'm Jewish, and Shabbat goes until sundown Sat night)

Guess they would have told me I'd need to get married in the winter?

of course they wouldn't -- they would never be INVITED!!!

there will always be someone who complains about something. if its not the date...it could be the location...or the food or something.

even with a saturday...u could have guests with non traditional jobs who dont have m-f 9-5 schedule...so to them a sat could be annoying.

its dumb for them to say they would give less...because it shouldnt be about that....especially when people have different reasons for picking the date (its not always about whats cheaper).

our rh was already booked the day OF thanksgiving and the day after before we even went to go look at the place and that was more than 2 years in advance.

ugh i WISH someone else heard it this morning....i wanted to hear what they said about Fridays....someone said its not bad its an excuse to take off and then i think Greg T said something about how he'd have to work all day and then go party, he'd be too tired

and danielle was saying she'd rsvp no to any wedding that wasnt on a saturday

lol i heard what they said! they were SO mean! they said that all people who get married on fridays or sundays are rude. so.. i guess i'm rude lol

We got married on a Sunday afternoon and our wedding was a blast.

I am jewish and had no choice we wanted a day wedding since our ceremony was on the water and we left our wedding by boat. If we did have a Saturday wedding it could not have started till around 8:30 at night.

They need to get a grip on reality and realize that it is not always about money for everyone that does not get married on a Saturday.

My wedding was on a Sunday and we had a great party I wanted it on a Saturday or Sunday so that people could see the water we were paying so much for!! They are so rude and narcissistic to judge brides who have weddings on days other than Saturday....weddings are not about you, Z100, they're about the couple getting married. Buy a vowel for chrissakes

It is a repeat. I didn't listen to them this morning and I had heard this before.

someone will always complain about something. i'm getting married on a saturday evening but some people have complained because it is in the winter and will be too cold. i guess walking the 5 feet from car to door is just too much for some AND my reception and ceremony are both in the same location!
point of the story, no matter what u do, someone will have a problem with it
