GIRLS!!! I *DID* CALL IN AND WAS ON!!! I was Angela, duhhhh lol and I called saying that basically I wasn't surprised with Greg T bc he is a moron but that i was disgusted with Danielle. Weddings are ridiculously expensive now, especially up here....my sister and i got married 6 months apart, and basically people do what they can to celebrate their marriage. If jackasses like Danielle and Greg don't want to be there, oh well...people who love you and want to celebrate with you will be there!

i heard a little about Friday, but that was when I was getting out of the car - but basically anything BUT saturday was crap to them.....oh well, i'm Friday, I don't care, I already got complaints about my wedding from disgruntled/miserable family members (and not even b.c of the day!) , the guy on the show that is getting married this sunday said it best - you cant please everyone - the day, the season, the month, the location, the food, etc. - you just cant make all of your guests happy and that is SO TRUE!

That is ridiculous. I'll call Danielle and tell her to pay the difference between having my wedding on a Saturday night instead of Sunday.

Does anyone have any idea how much these people make on Z100 morning show?

anyone hear them this morning? i think this is the second time this week they were complaining about Sunday weddings - as I was getting out of the car it sounded like they were about to start bashing Friday weddings too - but I didn't get to hear what they said.....my wedding is Friday!

OMG I listened to this on the way to work and almost called. I sort of understand why ppl complain about Sundays( b/c of work the next day) but I was seriously FUMING when they started bashing Fridays and even Saturday day weddings. I am getting married on a Friday b/c there were no saturdays left and my Friday was the last one available, NOT because its cheaper, in all reality its not THAT much cheaper.

Greg T actually had the nerve to say that he puts less in an envelope when a wedding is Friday or Sunday. And Danielle said that when ppl get your invite, they talk badly about you.

And the best part is that Greg T actually had the nerve to say that we should wait YEARS until we 'can afford a saturday' wedding and not be cheap!!!!!!

I wanted to tell them both to EFF OFF!

DH and I were listening this morning on the way to work. It really gets me angry when people just assume that if you are getting married on a Friday or Sunday that your wedding is costing you less. Where I got married, it is the same whether you get married on a Tuesday at noon in February or a Saturday at 7pm in May. Some people just have no clue or class.
I could have heard incorrectly but...I think the guy Ronnie is getting married at Jericho Terrace on Sunday. Elvis kept saying he was getting married at one of their sponsors and Jericho Terrace is a sponsor of the Z Morning Zoo.

I didn't hear it..but it's rude of them to assume everyone can or wants to have their wedding on a Sat. evening. as for Holiday weddings it's easier if you have lots of OOT guests and frankly you'll be at a party, bbw or other for some of these holiday's so why not celebrate a wedding!!!!!

I really hate rude people.

My wedding is on a Sat. evening and because it's the weekend between Christmas and New Year's I've gotten from some people......'Oh that'll affect any gifts you get' or 'Why did you plan it then, it's inbetween the holiday's'.

My answers' 'I sent a save-the-date so people are aware of when it is and can plan accordingly for it. Plus it's a celebration, we just expect the people who love us to come and have a good time..not to make bank roll.' and 'We chose this date because we both love the holiday's and loved the idea of a holiday wedding.'

i understand about fri and sun being inconveinent or a holiday being inconveinent BUT i thought that they were being rude....saying you are going to give less is F'd up......you know who is a cheap a$$ Greg T - he said he gives $250 for saturday weddings and less for fri and sun! how come nobody called him cheap? he was using the whole pay per plate rationale AND im getting married on a FRIDAY in DECEMBER and $250 doesnt cover 2 plates at my Friday Winter wedding so i guess that makes him cheaper than me

I think you should write an email to them. I best you anything it will get read on Monday morning. Especially if you say that $250 won't cover 2 plates at JT on a Friday night. Greg T is a d o u c h e bag!!!

yeah they know the guys at JT. When i booked, speedy was there(is that his name) and we met him. He even took our names down and announced our wedding and said congrats on the radio. Our bm was telling us about their relationship with Z100. Also remember when z100 did the free wedding, it was at JT.

Hmmmm I guess they'd complain about the 8pm+ ceremony start time we would have needed if we did a Sat night (I'm Jewish, and Shabbat goes until sundown Sat night)

Guess they would have told me I'd need to get married in the winter?
