Zap Shots....

Zap Shots....

I wanted to have zap shots taken of the guests during cocktail/reception. My DJ is charging me an xtra 1500 to have one person do this for 5 hours. I would get a CD of all the pics taken throughout the night and pics are shown on two plasma TV's.........is this a waste of $$$ or is it worth getting it????

BTW: I already have two photographers from Duet

i booked the zap shots too ... i think it's a lot of fun and will provide a few more pictures (which is the most important thing IMO)

to me, it's totally worth it

i will also be using the tvs to display a photo montage during dinner (if FH and I can find baby pictures of ourselves )

ooo, i didn't even see your price in there ... i agree that 1500 sounds like a lot ... but i have NO idea what i'm paying for mine ... i'm almost positive it's not quite that much.

we had zap shots. i wanted them to be shown on the tv screens through out the night , which they were. but honestly i think i paid 500 for it and the pictures themself arent great at all. i kind of think it was a waste of money now but at the same time i still would have wanted them on the tv screens...

what?!?!?! $1500???

My package as just under $2,000 and thats includding zap shots, video screens, our slide show, all the lights and our names on the dance floor etc.. I was skeptical of their price, sounded too good to be true. But the owner/DJ Ralph did 6 of my friend's co-workers weddings and they all raved about him and recomended him to her, she booked with him & so did I.

Wow that seems like a lot. I like the concept of zap shots, but you will probably get more soso shots, then amazing candid shots. I don't know if that would be worth it for that price.

I don't remember what we are paying but I think they are worth it! They take candid shots throughout the night. It's like having a friend take pics with a digital camera. My one regret from my e-party was that I didn't ask anyone to bring cameras. The more pics the better!

I am getting Zap Shots included and NO WAY was it $1500...I'm paying a little over that for a 3 man team w/zap shots (he's even coming to my CHURCH), 2 plasmas and lighting.

just checked my contract - i'm paying $800 for zap shots, plasmas, and a photo montage

so yeah, $1500 is a lot ...not sure about whether your deal is good or not cause i don't know anything about the cost of lighting

we are having zap shots and thats a lot of money for them. i just looked at my contract and my dj is charging me $800. thats for 100-120 pics, plasma tvs and 1 guy to do it.

I think zap shots is a great idea.. Try pricing it with Dynamic Entertainment.. maybe they can beat the price you were quoted.

Otherwise, I think they are a great idea. They are more fun, candid shots that you can take with you at the end of the night. I don't know about you, but I'm going to DIE while waiting for my pro pics, so it's nice to walk away with something that night

I wouldn't book this DJ because he is clearly ripping you off.... shop around and negotiate.... don't worry about seeming like a b*tch either because when some of these people hear the word 'wedding' they inflate their prices by a ton.

I booked zap shots...and I think its totally worth it!! I LOVE seeing zap shots at weddings and it gives you even more pics

(I also have 2 photogs from Duet but I still wanted them). See if they can come down in price.
