Some packages that we are looking at (because we want the plasma screens for photo montages) are the DELUXE packages.............which include zap shots but some DJ's will let us just rent the plasma tv's and have the montage and others you have to do the whole PACKAGE DEAL with the zap shots...
NOw.. I love PICS!!! but i am wondering if the ZAP shots are worth it when im having a huge photography package.....
just want some advice

If you LOVE pics I would do it. I am still pondering if I should get the upgrade in my DJ package but, the budget might not let us.

i was thinking about the same thing... i feel like you can never have too many pictures, but my fh thinks that they aren't worth it. i guess he's right, especially if you are having a big package from the photog... and on top of that, your friends and fam will definitely take tons of pictures. i would add it if you have the budget for it, but not if you have to cut something else out!

My friend just got married this past October and I gotta say I think some of the 'zap shots' she got were better pics then what her photographer took!

we have them in our pacakge can never have to many pics right
and from what we've seen alot of the shots are from the dance floor when grandma is grinding with the best man

zap shots are pictures that are shot throughout the evening or day like at the ch and reception that are continually displayed on the plasma screen

We want to do it... when its all over you're going to want as many pictures as you possibly can have so I think it's worth it.

My sister had it at her wedding and it was great, but like others said only do it if you have money to burn. It is a nice extra to have, but it does not add THAT much more to the wedding where I would say to def get it.

I'm the sister and I say WORTH IT!!!!!!!
EDIT-for the link to my Zap Shot photos- I received OVER 200 within a week from the wedding!! Def helped hold me over till I got my professional proofs and they got some GREAT shots that I otherwise wouldn't have had
After looking at some of those ZAP SHOTS.... I totally want them now heheheeheeehe

we thought about it, and its definitely in the budget, but i dont really think it goes with our place. we feel like the plasma tv's will take away from the beautiful look of the room. my dad totally agrees with us, do it if you want but 'the look' is definitely something to take into considerstion.

We are thinking about it as well. Not sure if it something to really spend money on. The only thing is I know people like to see themselves on the big screen. But it's your choice.

I don't think that zap shots are really worth it! I think that just a regular picture montage on the plasma's is a nice idea!

i dont think its something you have to have.....if you can afford it i would get it just because you might end up with a few really good pictures and you can get them pretty soon after the wedding....we are having it b/c we know our DJ....but if it was something we had to pay extra for, im not so sure if we'd do it (ok we probably would do it ) but i dont think its a necessity
