I totally did not know the Zen Palate in Westbury (ie - my fav restaurant) closed in late April! DH and I made a special trip out to Westbury this past weekend to go there to eat and it was no longer in existance. Now I am going to have to go into the city to get it Was anyone else a Zen Palate lover (I am looking at the veggies among us)?

I posted a while back about this Suz - I'm sorry you made that trip - I was very, very upset, as that place rocks, and its so hard to get to the city now with the baby and I wanted to bring him there to expose him to good veggie food....
The weird thing is, I went there right before I gave birth because I was craving the sesame medallions and sweet potato fries (Oh god I want to have those again ) and little did I know it would be the last time I ate there....

I took him to TL once. The food he liked, but the ambiance in places like that, not so much. He thinks bohemian/ hipster joints are pretentious. He thinks Milk and Sugar is pretentious. He likes to judge.
Oh man - your DH would dislike us immensely, I'm assumining. I'm all about the BoHo in everything I do!!!

BTW - my mouth is watering now - I'm friggen starving, and began thinking about those damn sesame medallions and yam fries. Then you people began talking about this Tiger Lily place that I have to check out, and I got even hungrier.
Thats it - I'm never coming back to NWR again.

Most important post ever and I missed it. I was peeved. Then we ate at BD Chengs across teh street and it was crap. I was very meloncholy. I actually started to cry when we got there and it wasn't there (Yes - I am that sad).
