Re: 100 lb vs. 200 lb cardstock
will you be printing directly on the cardstock or adhering what you print?i think that might play a role. i'm not sure if 200lb would be ok in a printer.
i only say this because i've had problems with 80lb paper before.
i would suggest you buy one sheet of each at a place like kinkos, and see how it behaves
wish i could be more help

Re: 100 lb vs. 200 lb cardstock
If you use the manual feed in a laser printer 200gsm is okay. You don't want it to have to bend around. 100 is light card so might be a bit floppy.

Re: 100 lb vs. 200 lb cardstock
I would call your printer or kinkos or whatever before purchasing a huge amount of sheets. Just get one at a paper store and do a test prior. I work at a print shop (small) and we can not run either weight stock through our laser printers. Our press can just handle 100lb. Remember you probably doing short run so therefore it will be run on a laser. Most places that have newer machines can deff. run both weights of stock through laser - as i stated verify first and do a test first. they will charge you but its worth it for piece of mind. Go to a kinkos or staples first because most print shops HATE dealing with someone just doing 50 copies of anything unless its just a hit of a start key.
Also, I didn't look at a link but if you are doing full color or any color on a colored stock it will change the color altering it by mixing the toner or ink to stock color.
If you are just using it to mount go with the thicker. 100lb is thick but i doubt it will stand on its own with out a little help. Humidity might make it curl also.
