Affordable Bridal Shower Venue Help please!

Hi ladies :) I'm looking for bridal shower spots for my friend and she is so completely different, that a typical Long Island type italian restaurant won't do it. I need unique. But I also need it to possibly be $30 and under per plate. Is this impossible? My friend's mother said she would pay, and now she's being a complete cheap ____ (insert bad word of choice here) and decided she only wants to contribute $400. So the bridal party now has to foot the rest of this bill. we are totally FINE doing that, but we don't have a great deal to contribute. We are thinking $200 each, and there are 9 of us. So our budget is limited. I'd really like to make it somewhat affordable. Can anybody help?

Try a place that has brunch, that is generally a less expensive meal. Also try seventh street cafe in garden city or Hemmingways in Wantagh, I think they are pretty affordable.

How many people? We had a tea party at Chat noir in RVC for my sister shower it was amazing! Everyone had a great time.

I had a graduation brunch for my sister at three village inn in stony brook with a private room for 30 people it was about 700 bucks. I know they also have the same type of thing at the view in oakdale.

try Trattoria Lucia in bellrose. (its technically queens but across the street is nassau lol) or La Famiglia in plainview.

We had mine at Maxwell's in Islip. It's beautiful & the food was delicious.

Black Has=us in Farmingdale. We had a G2G there for brunch they had a few private rooms I think and the price was very reasonable per person for brunch.. also Try Nancy's in Floral Park.. The parking over there is not the ideal but they are reasonable per head I went to a shower there many moons ago and it was very nice!
