american legion/knights of columbus
Does anyone know how much it is to rent out either of these places? is the fee the same no matter which location you go to, or does it depend on the location? do you know of any nice ones? are there any other places like this you can think of? i just found out that im in charge of planning my sister's sweet 16, which will be a month before our wedding haha

Re: american legion/knights of columbus
There is a charge to rent any of them. Some require you bring in your own alcohol (if you're going to have any) others require you use their bartender. I live out east and rented a reallly nice american legion for our e-party in riverhead it was sooo cheap too $250 for 4 hours. If you live further west a friend of mine had hers at a firehouse I think it was in Bellmore. I don't know how much she paid for it but it was a nice big room. You can call them and they will give you prices over the phone

I had our engagement party at the american legion hall in seaford which was very nice, it was $575 for the room and then $9.50 per person for open bar, it was cheaper if you just wanted soda, and then you bring in your own food and DJ

Re: american legion/knights of columbus
Some of them will include food, some do not. I am almost positive the one in either NHP or Floral Park does. To rent one out, most of them are b/t $400-$500 for 4 hours + some will give you an hour of set up time.Let me recommend a place though: There is a place that is LIKE a KofC/AL in Amityville. It's called the Amity Harbor Beach & Civic Association. It's on the water, has a little deck, a big green area, is down the block from the beach, and is decorated beachyish inside. It's $450 to rent for 5 hours (which includes setup)
