Re: Anyone ever go to the BLISS SPA in the city?

I actually had an appointment for a massage with my SIL for this Saturday, but I was sick and had to cancel. We rescheduled for July. I have heard wonderful reviews though!

Re: Anyone ever go to the BLISS SPA in the city?

I went there for the neck massage (I think they call it the 'rubber neck') and it was AWESOME!!!! It wound up being more of a whole upper body thing and it was so relaxing.

Re: Anyone ever go to the BLISS SPA in the city?

I've been to two of the Bliss spas, and had wonderful times. I only had facials, manicures, and pedicures, but talk about being spoiled....

The only massage I have ever had was at the Oasis day spa in the city, and it was incredible!

Re: Anyone ever go to the BLISS SPA in the city?

The company I works for owns Bliss Spas. I would recommend going to the 57th street or soho location. The new one in the W New York is on the small side.

Re: Anyone ever go to the BLISS SPA in the city?

I've been to both the SOHO location and the 57th street location. I had great massages at both locations, but I did prefer 57th street.

Re: Anyone ever go to the BLISS SPA in the city?

I had a not-so-great experience with Bliss (SoHo).
It took me 2 months to get an appt. for a 2-hour treatment.
When I arrived, the front desk was not-so-friendly. Then I went into the locker room, which smelled like sweaty gym socks.
My Therapist was nice, she gave a good massage, but I was taken aback because as I was trying to relax & enjoy, she kept pushing products on me! She knew I was a Massage Therapist & just wanted to relax, but she didn't give up.
I won't be going back anytime soon.

Re: Anyone ever go to the BLISS SPA in the city?

The services are very good - not amazing in my experience. The real treat is the waiting room, after you get into the robe, you snack on fruit, cheese and crackers, and drink tea. It's so relaxing and the robe is so comfy - so get there early!!!
