Bari Jay Sizes

I just ordered Bari Jay BM dresses from RK bridal-- no frills program. I was wondering if anyone had experience with Bari Jay dresses. It seemed to me that some girls who were a street size 2 or 4 were ordering size 10 dresses. We followed the size chart and rounded up as is suggested, but I am getting nervous that these sizes are way too big!!!

IDK. I know that one of my sisters is a street size 10 and her dressfor my wedding was a street size 10. They seem to be fairly consistent. But, when I had to order my dress for my sisters wedding I got measured at 2 sizes larger than my street size.

My girls ordered Bari Jay from RK Bridal...it was inconsistent overall and the majority of the girls dresses were way too big. Only 2 girls got the right size. Hope that helps!

I also ordered bari jay from RK bridal and had a very hard time figuring out the sizes. The dresses haven't come in yet so I don't know what the end result will be but a few girls ordered smaller then the chart said and i think 2 ordered to the chart. I felt like the chart was very wrong but we shall see.

i'm wearing a bari jay bridesmaid dress for my best friend's wedding and i am a street size 4 and they ordered me a size 6. i feel like those may be too big for your girls. just my opinion.

I am got Bari Jay dresses for my bridesmaids. My MOH is the only one who tried on her actual dress. She is a street size 10 and they order her dress in a 14. And it was pretty much a perfect fit. It was a little loose on the top, but other than that, it looked great on her and she was comfortable!

Do you know if they went off the Bari Jay size chart? This is getting very frustrating-- why can't it just be close to your regular street size?

The dresses are sometimes cut in junior sizes or european sizes so they are not consistent with street clothes. Also, you have to account for the largest measurment so lets say that the dress size 6 would fit the bust and hips of your BM but the waist is larger, you ahve to go with the larger size...hth!

Yes, they went off the Bari Jay size chart...the lady even showed my friend why they got that size and it was mainly cause she has a booty lol

I went through RK and there prices are great-- but the part where you have to figure out the sizes is a bit intense. A 27 inch waist is an 8??? I am trying to calm myself because I hear that bridal sizes are different than street sizes. So thanks ladies!
