Bird cage wedding card holder...

Is anyone else using one? I thought it'd be a cute idea.

I saw one that I REALLY liked, a fairytale coach... but it was $100 and I really couldn't bring myself to believe that was a reasonable price. Then I saw one that was a Lillian Rose one- which was gorgeous, but $60.

So I settled for the smaller, plainer one... which turned out to be only $12. My mom was saying we could use ribbon or tulle or something to 'fancy' it up a bit.

Has anyone else used one??

I used a birdcage. I don't have any really good pics of it but here's a funny non pro pic. lol You can sort of see the birdcage in the background, to the right of us.

Re: Bird cage wedding card holder...

Oriental Trading Co. has a cute one for $17. I'm considering that one! I think the one you posted will look great once you attach some bows or ribbons to it! You might also want to consider weaving some ribbons across the bottom because it seems like the cards might slip out of those slots, as they are on the wide side. No one really pays attention to it, so I wouldn't worry too much!

Yeah, we were thinking of decorating it with some ribbon, or tulle :)
