Catholic Churches near Fox Hollow
Hey guys,I'm considering a wedding at Fox Hollow and was wondering where the Catholic fox hollow brides got married? Almost all of the guests will not be from Long Island and I don't want people having to do too much driving. Thanks in advance!

Re: Catholic Churches near Fox Hollow
I'm getting married at North Ritz Club down the road from Fox Hollow. The church i'm getting married in is Our Lady of Hope in Carle Place. I've been back and forth to both places and on a good day it might take like 15 mins. The church is so beautiful, and its not to big, not too small...you should def. check it out! You have to be a member of the church, but all you'd have to do is call and give them your info and thats it..your a member!

I got married at St. James Church on Seamans Neck Rd in Seaford. It is literally right off the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway. About a 10 minute drive, only on major roads.

St. Brigids will not do weddings for non-parishoners ... we attend mass there but are not registered there, and they would not let us register simply to get married there.

I can't speak for St. Elizabeth's, but I am a member of St. Hugh's and we are NOT getting married there b/c they are insanely strict with their photography rules. St. Patricks is gorgeous but they are obnoxious if you aren't already a member there. Oh yeah, and St. Brigid's wouldn't let us get married there, either, since we aren't members of the parish.

I attend Mass at St. Brigids but we are not registered members of the parish even though we're in the right part of town to be St. Brigids members...
They would not let us get married there even though everyone in FH's family was married, baptized, and confirmed there... FH's grandparents are/were very active in the Parish and they still would not allow us to get married there, nor would they let us register for the Parish in order to get married there....
They were very adament about this...

I dont know about it either. The priest said they would be sending us something in the mail so we could sign up. We will probably go to the same one since you're getting married the day after me!!
