Crest Hollow Country Club

Hello everyone! I just booked my wedding at CHCC, and I am facing the same dilemma as a few other people regarding chair covers. I was just wondering has anyone found an outside resource that was cheaper than what CHCC was offering? I am trying to be as budget friendly as possible......??

Also has anyone ever booked lighting for the Emerald Room? If so how did that turn out?

Re: Crest Hollow Country Club

congrats! yup I never thought about chaircovers untill I really looked at the room, I think they are ugly, however thats just my opinion lol I think that they should at least give you the option to cover the chairs those colors ar so off well, for my summer wedding they are. I was told they could order the chair covers but it would cost $6.00 pr chair. So I guess im hoping someone will know of a more economical way to get chair covers

Re: Crest Hollow Country Club

Thanks I will look into it, the problem I am faced with is chcc's chairs are really big and the average chair cover doesn't fit it, but thanks again I will give them a try!

Re: Crest Hollow Country Club

I am getting married in the Emerald room as well. I went to the showcase they had last night and it was in that room. The DJ ( hart to Hart who are very good) works with some lighting company and there was some uplighting and lounge piece in the room it looked really cool.
I want Chair covers too! i dont mind the chairs that are there but i feel like they will clash with my colors ( pinks and purples)

Re: Crest Hollow Country Club

I'm also getting married in the Emerald Room and I didn't like the chairs!!!! I'm being hopeful in that MAYBE since they are doing some big renovations outside, they will replace some of these old chairs??? I really don't want to have to spend extra $$ on covering the chairs. Maybe we can sign some sort of petition to beg for new chairs, LOL.

Re: Crest Hollow Country Club

Or at least have them through in the chair covers. i wouldn't even care if they were just plain ivory .

Is anyone not using the florists that they recommended. And if so did they give you a hard time?

Re: Crest Hollow Country Club

Yeah, I mean I assumed they WOULD throw them in, so I was surprised that our B.M, Thomas, said that there is a charge for them. I seriously think we should all complain about those chairs! My mom thinks they will change the chairs by summer 2011, but I have my doubts.

Re: Crest Hollow Country Club

No, they have an outside resource they use, because they said the chairs require a special sized linen, and the company they deal with specializes in those exact chairs. I guess it's just an extra cost I would like to use towards something more important. I am however going to contact linen creations today.
