My fh's name is Danny so I was looking through a bunch of songs so I played this song and I was crying like a baby
There is one part that says ....

That is totally us...I wanna play this at my wedding but not as a bride/groom dance just as a nice song

It is a great song. I am just curious if when Kenny Loggins wrote it, if the 'Danny' in question is the man or the son.

I LOVE IT TOO...My Fh's name is Danny too, and that line gets me all the time. I wanted FH to dance with his mom to it.

i actually had thought of using it for our wedding song but my sister said its what a father is singing about his son. i still feel like the lyrics are about us though! def play it at your wedding!
