David's Bridal - price adjustments?

I just noticed that the dress I bought from David's less than 1 week ago is now $150 less than the 'on sale' price I got. Does anyone know if they would do a price adjustment?

David's Bridal - price adjustments?

Thanks! I wasn't sure if canceling the order would be an option. And their website doesn't really outline any kind of policy, so I'm wondering if it's at the store's discretion. They were super nice to us in Massapequa, so I'm hoping they will accommodate me. I only bought it on Sunday 7/28, so hopefully they won't give me too much grief. Even if they gave me a credit to use in the store, I could use it towards my veil or something.

David's Bridal - price adjustments?

So, I went to David's on Friday night, just before they closed. The manager on duty said there was nothing he could do that night, but if I called the next day, they would be able to do the refund by phone.

When I called on Saturday, I spoke with an assistant manager from the Lake Grove store who was just working at Massapequa that day. She told me that the computer wouldn't let her do the adjustment. She would have to cancel my dress order and re-order it at the sale price. And the reason the price had dropped so much is that it was just discontinued. So, they wouldn't be able to guarantee that I could immediately reorder the same size if I canceled the order. She was really nice about it and told me that she could place a note on my account so that, when the dress comes in (early November), they could cancel the order and I could immediately repurchase it at the sale price.

I wish there was a way to take care of it now, since I know I will forget about it by November, but I'd be happy even if I get a store credit. I could always use it towards my mom's dress.
