Re: taraalissa

Me too, I don't want to sound obnoxious, but I think it's a way of getting more $$ out of you. My reception hall say that they're providing me with 2 bridal attendants and I've heard from another woman that's getting married there that we also get 2 maitr'ds. I'm going to ask them when I go drop off the next payment. I'm going to tell them I want one maitre'd and one bridal attendant. What the heck do I need 4 people for?????

Re: Difference between Maitre D and Captain??

The Maitre D is in charge of the whole
wedding. They run the show. The Captain
is in charge of all the waiters/waitresses.
I got married at the Watermill on April
20th and the captain introduced herself
to me, but I never saw her again. Our
best man was in charge of handing out the
tips at the end of the night and he said
when he found the captain, she was 'stressed
out and sweating' so he thought she
deserved her tip! LOL
