Gerry Park, Roslyn???

FH and I decided we would take our wedding photos here, but we didn't explore the entire area.

Is there anyone here who took their wedding or e-pics here??

Thanks in advance!!!

Oh yeah, forgot to add, I was told there might be a site fee to take pics there of about $50, but who would I pay that to??

If that is the Roslyn Duck Pond in the village of Roslyn, think twice. I grew up around there and there is duck and goose poo all over the place.

Re: Gerry Park, Roslyn???

Not sure about the site fee but it is really nice there!!!! You also want to find out if you will be the only bride there as that is a popular area for brides getting married right up the road at the Claremont Hotel. I think I would call the town to find out, call operator and ask for village of Roslyn and go from there, good luck!

Yes its the same park she is referring too. Definitely bring a pair of bad shoes. My parents took their wedding pics there like a billion years ago. My family lives right by there and its nice - there are always weddings there.

Re: Gerry Park, Roslyn???

Oh boy, we walked around there a couple of weeks ago, and I remember the poo all over.

I do have a backup pair of shoes I could wear, my only concern would be the chapel length train on my dress!!! Should I just bring a white sheet???

yea, bring a sheet. any park is going to have geese and duck poop. we all love parks for their natural beauty.... but animal poop it's part of nature too
