Has anyone heard that Calla Lillies smell horrible???

So I am having all Calla Lillies for my wedding and my friend had told me that they smell REALLY bad!! Is this true!!??? I have never really put my nose up tp them to smell them! Now I am curious!! Is this true?

NO!!! No one will have their nose in your bouquet, and if they did, hit them with it
I am having callas in my bouquet and my mom told me a lot of times the pollen is loose and it can fall of the dress and stain it. You should ask your florist if they can take some excess pollen off of the tips. Hope I helped

No, not at all. If anything they are odorless compared to a lot of the more pungent flowers. Chrissy, I'm having a lot of Calla Lillies too. My concern are the orchids I'm also having bc their smell tends to remind people of funerals
I'm also using gardenias to compensate bc they have a sweet strong scent that hopefully will over power the orchids.

my BF had them for our bridesmaids bo-K- they were fine that day- but I took mine home- the next day the whole house stuck- I had to throw them away

When I was a BM not too long ago I had tons of calla lillies in my bouquet - they didn't smell at all!

I mean if you have a room filled with them, maybe I can see it, but I am sure that is with any flower.

I had all calla lilies...I have never heard this and they didn't smell.

NOOOOOOOOOO Calla's have NO smell whatsoever! That is so not true. Calla's have been my favorite flower since I was a girl (I even grow them) and they have no scent. Now the stargazer lily does and it is very strong... maybe the person who told you this mixed up to 2

Calla Lillies are an odorless flower, they have absolutely no scent, whoever told you that was probably just being a hater

They are definitely smell less compared to a lot of other flowers. Actually, I don't think they smell at all.

I think they onle smell horrible when they are dead... Maybe someone sent your friend dead calla lillies!?!??!

Hey....honeslty....a ton of flowers don't smell so pretty. But thats only when they've been sitting in water for two days on someone's desk.
Chrissy, people are not going to smell the callas. The only stinky calla I ever smelled was one that was on my desk for three days and dying....trust me. You'll be fine. And they'll have soo much booze in there body that if they do smell something, they'll think its their own bo from dancing

Yea, I wouldn't even think about it. I have never heard that before. Noone is going to smell your boquet or centerpieces.
