Hotels near the Bourne Mansion

Hello Brides/ Brides-to be :)

I am starting to look into which hotel I should chose for the night of wedding at the Bourne Mansion.

I know Ben suggested two, I believe it was the Holiday Inn, and I can't remember the other but they were both within a 10-15 minute drive. I am planning on paying for my limo company to shuttle the guests. I think at least 70 will be utilizing the hotel.

Any thoughts/suggestions/reviews?

I attended a wedding at the Bourne Mansion about 2 1/2 years ago and we stayed at a Hilton on 454 I believe. There are quite a few hotels over there b/c the airport is right around the corner. I also stayed in the same hotel when attending a wedding at Snapper Inn.

Did they have a bar? I want to be able to hang out with my guests afterwards...

Yes! And we hung out late night for both weddings!! I thought it was great!

I'm getting married at Bourne and have a block set up at the Marriot in Islandia. It's about a 15min ride, it's one of the closest and it's very nice and good pricing.

Hi I am getting married at the Bourne Mansion 5/28 and we are using the Holiday Inn. The rate was decent and there is a hotel bar, however we plan to still get our our courtesy room afterwards so we can hang out soley with our guests. Im soo happy to see that you are gonna be a Bourne bride too!! Best of luck with all of your planning!! Just a note, not sure whether or not your end of may wedding falls on memorial day, but mine does and be sure to block off your rooms asap!!! I almost cried when I started calling around bc most hotels were telling me that there was a 2 night min that weekend, but luckily the holiday inn was fine with booking for just one night...

I am getting married at the Bourne on 4/29 and we are using the Holiday Inn. They offered us a shuttle for our guests to the Bourne if we booked at least 10 rooms with them. The cost was minimally increased if we wanted to add the shuttle (maybe 10-20$ per room), but with guests sharing rooms this is nominal, and saved me A LOT of money and time trying to book my own shuttle for everyone. I definitely recommend the Holiday Inn. They also have a bar that will stay open for you and will comp you a suite if you book a certain amount of rooms with them as well.

Crashing --I got married at bourne in October and blocked rooms at the Marriott Islandia -- they had such a great rate, great to work with too.

We used the Hampton Jitney to shuttle the guests to/from (they were the best price out of all the places we looked for a shuttle)

That is a great idea having the hampton jityney as a shuttle! If you don't mind can you FM me the price range they provided to you?

Also, does the Marriot have a bar?
