Jericho Terrace - Oak Room

Has anyone ever been to a reception in the oak room before? What did you think?

If you do a search for 'Oak Room' under the Brides Review board, you'll get a few hits. I *believe* Somethingblu had that room at JT.

We really liked the room, but we felt it was too small for us. They were trying to convince us that 144 people would fit comfortably in the room, but the way they had it set up, the guests would barely have had enough room to get up without bumping into each other. It was very nice, but in the end we wanted a bigger room (they couldn't offer us a different one b/c of our minimum).

we looked at the oak room. it is the smallest out of all the rooms there. definitely felt kinda cramped and we visited when there wasn't anyone in there. probably comfortable for a party of 100 or less. jericho tends to overestimate the max occupancy in each room.

the oak room is beautiful if you're having a small wedding....but i definetly wouldn't cram in anything over 125! good luck! JT is GORGOUS!!!!!

I had my reception in the Oak room. We had a small, 100 guest reception and this room was PERFECT. We were told the max is 140 but honestly, I wouldn't try to cram that many people in there. This was such a beautiful room, and because it was downstairs, it was secluded from everything else that was going on. Here are some pics of the room.
