Jericho Terrace Skylight Room

Hi everyone, I have already book JT for my reception, however i am having second thoughts about my room. I am going to be getting married in the skylight room and have also planned to have the reception in the skylight room... but i am debating whether i should change my reception to the oak room.. mainly because my wedding is in the afternoon from 1:30-5:30 and i feel like if the sun is shining from the skylight people wont dance. The oak room may give the illusion of night time and make people feel comfortable to dance and enjoy themselves.

What do you guys think????

Re: Jericho Terrace Skylight Room

I think u should have ur ceremony in the skylight room, because it will look gorgeous. I think changing your reception room to the oak room can be a good idea, that way its a diff room 4 ur guests to be amazed by and the sun won't bother you!

Re: Jericho Terrace Skylight Room

Its so funny that you are mentioning this. I was there yesterday and he showed me the Oak Room which I did like when I saw it but it wasn't 100% 'me'. When I saw the Skylight room I fell in love. So my opinion would be to stick with the skylight room. Are you sure the Oakroom is even available for your day? If it is, I'd stop by and look at both at around the time of your wedding to get a feel and see what catches your eye more.

BTW - do you know how many people the Skylight room holds?

the skylight room can hold up to 500 guests. What they do is for big weddings they use the WHOLE room, and for weddings around 150 guests the split it in half but you could never tell they do it. So many girls getting married there didnt even know this when they went to look. I am using the skylight room but the whole room and our min is 275
