For centerpieces I've seen a basket with all different cooking utensils like spatulas, garlic presses, whisks, etc in them. Each guest takes one as a favor when they leave. You could probably get everything in a dollar store.

Re: Kitchen Themed Bridal Shower
I requested a kitchen themed bridal shower. Here are some of the ideas I gave to my MOH:“Spice of Life” Game
Take 5 or 6 jars of different spices. Cover the label so nobody knows the spice. Label them 1, 2, 3, 4…You could either have the bride guess what each of the spices are...or you can pass them around the room and guests have to guess what the spices are. Whoever wins (there might be a few), will win a cooking related prize (measuring cups, whisk, etc.) .
Recipe Cards
You can get a recipe box at Target, Hallmark…
anywhere really. Michaels has the recipe cards in the $1 section. There are probably about 10 cards in each pack. Include two recipe cards (in case of mistakes or people want to write two recipes) in the invitation. Attach a post-it that said “Lets Shower the Bride-to-Be with a Fabulous Recipe!” They also sell the recipe books, but I don't like them as much because they don’t give you enough sheet protectors if you want to add more recipes to it.
