Re: LONG ISLAND SNACKS
Maybe a little tiny bottle of wine from a Long Island vineyard? I am not sure where to find those, but a lot of the vineyards have websites.

Small jars of local honey with tea would be nice.

I just found this website. Some of these items look cute. I guess it depends on what your budget is - could get pricey!http://www.atasteofthenorthfork.com/index.php

Re: LONG ISLAND SNACKS
Just wanted to add some ideas...You could put in some info on the Big Duck - they have brochures..or maybe a cute ornament.
There's a brewery in Blue Point - Blue Point brewing. They make a spectacular Blueberry beer. FH doesn't like fruity beer - but LOVES this beer.
HTH!

Re: LONG ISLAND SNACKS
I second Bluepoint - the blueberry beer is the best .I also got cookies (they have brownies and other goodies) from tates.
I saw some cool honey and other codiments on a taste of north fork website.
Carol form North fork chips - is soo nice and totally hooked me up with chips for my bags. I had to rave about her.
