Lucky Cheng's!!!!!!!

I went to Lucky Cheng's for my bachelorette party this weekend and we had a blast. I had never been and it was so much fun. My MOH bought me a 'Drag Box' which is basically a lap dance by one the the queens. If your going to NYC for your bachelorette party this is a great way to start the night!!!!!

I love Lucky Chengs - I grew up in the city and would be there all hours of the night after clubbing....

Would I be able to go there for a bridal party/Bachelorette party with my jr. bridemaids and MOH - ages 9-15? Let me just say that my future stepdaughters are exposed to a lot between me and my FH - we take FH's oldest to punk shows (cuz we still like them) and to all of our friends' parties (no sex or drugs going on at all, but just general wackiness - we like to have fun!)

They both know about drag queens and what being gay is about because our Best man is gay and his partner is a groomsmen, and my best friend is a lesbian, so we always talk very openly about that stuff...

So - is there anything raunchy going on that would be inappropriate if we went there for a late lunch? I think it would be a blast - not sure if anything about the place changed though, so let me know!

OK - just went on the website and it seems that the bachelorette part would NOT be a good idea!!!

Good thing I didn't have that in mind for the wee ones - I just want to take them there for lunch wihtout the X-rated wedding kit... LOL - just a nice lunch served by drag queens - is that still possible there???

I guess I can call them before you guys think that I am just plain sick!!!

i would suggest NOT taking kids there. its seems youve realized that. but just in case you werent sure. we went there for my SIL batchlorette. hum... lets just say i dont care how open i was with my kids this is NOT a place i would take them. the language and vulgarity that they use is just a little over the top

I agree. A lot of bad language, which is funny for us. But do you want to have to answer this question:

'What does suking c*ck mean?'

I wouldn't want a little girl asking me that.

No - I don't want to have to answer those types of questions - sorry - was having a brain-dead moment there - although I'm assuming maybe things are cleaner earlier in the day?

Still - not taking any chances - I think I'll go there with the big people, and take the younguns someowhere else - like American Girl place or something - they don't say C*ck S***er there, do they?????

I found out they have a sister restaraunt that lokos kid-friendly called Waiki Wally -

so how does this sound - we go one day with the younger ones there so they get a mini-bach. party and feel in the loop, and on another night all the big girls go out to play at Cheng's - I just spoke to them and the prices seem reasonable!!!
