I just bought my dress--Jennifer. I LOVE it! It's so so different from other dresses that I saw, and suites me perfectly.

I did have a bit of a problem though--the dress is very slim, and has a slit in the back. I wanted to have the slit filled in with fabric (so that you don't see my legs in the back when I walk--ugh!), but Maggie Sottero doesn't let you order extra fabric from them!! Luckily, my consultant at Lillette's (Christina) ROCKED, and found a fabric from another dress designer that matches almost perfectly. So they'll order extra fabric from the other company, to use to fill in the slit.

There are 2 more of her dresses that Im on a mission to find so I can try on: Angelina and Christiana Point--can anyone recommend a bridal salon that carries LOTS of her strapless dresses???

I bought the Olympia, a strapless gown, from RK Bridal. They are in Manhattan though. They carry a lot of her stuff.

I love her dresses! I am wearing Celeste. Fantasia bridal seemed to have a lot of her dresses. THey are awesome there!

I only hope I am this thin when i wear it!

As far as the prices go for Maggie Sottero, I guess it depends on the bridal salon but I havent found one over $1200 and they come with a shawl and pockebook :)

IMO--I dont find her expensive at all considering how beautiful she makes her dresses look--they look more expensive than they cost.......thats for sure!

Mine was Sarchi (ordered it from bridesave.com and saved about $300 over the price the salon where I tried it on quoted me) ...

I wore the Dion in Ivory, but with no poofy slip underneath.

ETA the Bridal Center in Commack had the biggest selection & was quite a few hundred dollars less than what I paid for mine (I went there with another friend who is getting married after I already ordered my dress.)

When I saw Maggie dresses in magazines, I was hooked! I bought Topaz (but mine is all white) from Bridal Reflections. I think they had a big selection. I cannot wait to wear it!

As for price, I find that Maggie gowns are reasonable compared to some others out there.. but it does depend on where you get it. I was given quotes of $800-1000 for mine , but wound up ordering it on Netbride and saving MUCHO DINERO $$$$$$$$$

I got the Royal Romance. I love how flattering her dresses are. I got mine at Bridal Suite in Patchogue. They matched Burton's price which was actually the same as Bridesave.
