More wedding ideas gone wrong.....
OKay, I've heard of wedding cupcakes, but never heard of a Hostess wedding cake!!! Maybe someone worked for Hostess???And the headpieces look like they add on 5 lbs....
And the dress was actually being sold on Ebay!! I'm just wondering how long it's been sitting in the closet for.....

actually the hostess idea was in a bridal magazine as one of the 'newest and different' things to do. It's like a little old school idea. I like it....

I love the Hostess cake. I so plan to make one of those for something - bday, rehearsal dinner, anything - cause YUM!

It's cute, and I'd love to have it at my wedding in ADDITION to my cake. But I wouldn't want it as the only cake.

me too. I just checked out the website and it is looking good for twinkies (it is their 75th anniversary
). And they even have a Twinkie recipe section that is hysterical (sadly I do really want to make the Twinkie 'sushi' for my next gathering )Twinkie Sushi!

The hostess cake would be great for an informal back yard BBQ e-party. But I didn't see Chocodiles!

I saw a krispy kreme cake that looked really cool thinking of doing it for rehersal dinner as something different and won't ruin the weding cake

yeah that is what I was thinking too - Hostess or Krispy Kreme (or combo!) cake for the RD!

didn't celine dion wear a headpiece like that? it was some gargantuan thing that looked ridiculous--even in the 90s or 80s or whatever.i remember hearing on Z100 last year that they aren't making twinkies anymore! greg t went out and bought as many boxes as he could.

It's not the point of having the hostess cake, it's the point as having that as your wedding cake and nothing else that seems a little strange!!!Granted you wouldn't have to worry about people not liking your cake, but it just looks cheap as a wedding cake IMO!!!
