My Tea Party Bridal Shower

So, MOH/Sis is throwing me a 'Mad Hatter Tea Party' for my Bridal Shower. I'm helping her out of course b/c she will be juggling this and her first year in college. So does anyone know any places that would be creative or just plain good to have a tea party lol(Nassau County locations please!). I feel so silly saying it. 'TEA PARTY... I want some tea and a cookie' lol...

Re: My Tea Party Bridal Shower

don't feel silly! my friend had a tea party bridal shower and it was really cute!

i am not sure about places you can go but my friend had it at her mom's house, but they hired people who brought all these cute teapots and served the tea and scones etc. It was so cute. This was not in NY but maybe there is something like that you could look into?!

Re: My Tea Party Bridal Shower

Alice's Tea Cup would be perfect!!!! It's a really cute place - www.alicesteacup.com

ETA: Sorry - didn't realize you wanted Nassau only. Alice's is in the city.

A new place just opened in RVC - Its called 'Chat Noir' and is a tea house, but I'm not sure if they do private parties.www.chatnoirtea.com

Re: My Tea Party Bridal Shower

I hosted a tea party shower for my sister at Milleridge Inn. We had it in the Garden Room. Everything was perfect and the guests really got a kick out of it. Pictures are in my album.

I got the cake from Baked to Perfection in Port Washington. People walking past the room kept trying to get in to get a better look at the cake!

Re: My Tea Party Bridal Shower

I just attended TWO tea party bridal showers in the past three weeks. One was at the brides home and it was adorable. The other was at the North Hills Country Club, the food was terrific!

Cant offer any advice, but went to one for my best friends cousin. Her mom had it at her house, she served all kinds of tea, of course, and finger sandwiches, scones, etc....and we all wore really cute, silly hats!! It was fun!!
