Nassau OB/GYN recommendations?
Hi ladies,As you can tell from my last post - I might be here on this board more frequently!
Can any of you ladies recommend a good OB/GYN in Nassau county (preferably female)? My old Dr. was here in the city and she was wonderful, but she left her practice and I'm bad and haven't found a new doctor yet! Also, I've moved all my doctors closer to home, so I need to find a new OB/GYN here as well. Trouble is, I don't know where to start! Can you please offer some suggestions? Thanks!!

My best friend goes to Dr Hanauer and LOVES her! My best friend has had some issues, and followed Dr Hanauer from the last place she worked.I go to Dr Scavo, also in Garden City and love her. She's so sweet! She's part of a pretty big practice. University Plaza Ob/Gyn. Love them there. Never have to wait too long. Ph number is 516-222-0722. Good Luck!

My Gyno didnt deliver so I had to find a new doctor once I was pregnant.I now use University Plaza OB/GYN, which is a practice of 7 doctors... 3 of them are female.
They are affiliated with Winthrop Hospital. Located on Stewart Avenue in Garden City.

Re: Nassau OB/GYN recommendations?
I really like Dr. Nodelman (this is a male doc though, if that is a problem), at Long Island Women's Health Group on Mineola Blvd. He's really nice. I've heard great things about Dr. Levine there too.

Re: Nassau OB/GYN recommendations?
I go to Dr. Lisa Turri in Rockville Centre, behind Mercy Hospital. She has been my GYN for years now. Her husband, Dr. Tarricone, is an OB and is who I plan to meet with next week for my ultrasound. I have seen such wonderful notes and pictures from parents all over the walls in his office, I assume he must be great.Dr. Turri is great too!

Re: Nassau OB/GYN recommendations?
I go to Nodelman and Levine also...They are located on Mineola Blvd in Mineola - right over the bridge from Garden City and are affliated with Winthrop. They will be delivering my first baby in less than a month and they have been amazing throughout my pregnancy. I really like them all. They are part of a bigger practive which includes 3 additional females (Lieberman, Valderama and Rohan). Nodelman and Levine are male. Good luck!516-741-4321

This is where I go... I really like both Levine and Nodelman.... although neither one was on call when I was delivering - Dr. Lieberman, the one I couldn't stand was the one who ended up giving me my c-section and I thought she was FANTASTIC!!!

Great Neck Obstetrics900 Northern Blvd # 220,
Great Neck, NY 11021

This place is awful, when you walk in you think this place is very nice. But the staff is the pits, the are very nasty and when you are pregnant , you like to go to a place where the staff is warm and caring and this is just a baby money mill. Alot of patients very long appt. wait times.
