ok, let's try Verdi's of westbury
I just called them and were given an AMAZING price for October
sooo I'm trying to call FH (who answered and hung up on me, then forwards all my calls to voicemail
) to see if he wants to go there tomorrow.... but before I go making an appointment I figured (once again
) I'd ask you ladies your views and opinions on them.I've never been there, I've only seen a few pictures online, so I don't know what to expect.
How's the food? how's the decor? anyone have pictures?
PLEASE HELP!
thank you soooo much!!!!
*sorry for the constant posts, I just need HELP!

Re: ok, let's try Verdi's of westbury
i have not been there myself, but i have heard some not so great reviews from people. but maybe it was just an off-night, or they are really picky. i would still check it out if i were you!! especially if you got a great price!!i have been to the one in whitestone and thought the food was good. but i dont know much more about westbury.
Maybe do a search on the site to see what past brides have to say?
Good luck!

Re: ok, let's try Verdi's of westbury
i've only found one other post and they said it was good 'restaurant quality food' so i don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Re: ok, let's try Verdi's of westbury
That may have been me who said it was good restaurant quality food. I have heard that from people about the one in Westbury and I can vouch for that myself about the one in Whitestone. Yeah, definately check it out on your own and maybe you could do a food tasting as well. I always suggest them when someones looking for a good price. LEt us know what happens.

FH and I went to a wedding there a couple of years ago. The food was good. I don't have any pictures, but from what I remember, the room was nice. The CH room was a little bit small (or they had a lot of people in there) - if I remember correctly it was long and narrow, but I enjoyed the wedding.

I haven't been to the Westbury one in years but I have lots of parties at the Whitestone one and have to say that the food and service has always been excellent. I know its family owned and opperated.

I grew up over there in salisbury and yet I have never gone to a wedding there, But I have gone to many many many New Years Eve's there.Hey it was close enough and cheap enough for a cab, lol.
But the food was good from what i can remember and the decor and rooms were really nice. Only thing i didn't like was Old Country Road. But hey if the food isn't that great there is always DD, KFC and don't forget Friendly's

I went there while looking for halls. I thought it was very nice...for a sweet 16 or christening. Compared to the other halls I saw, I wasn't impressed.

My FH's brother had their reception at the Verdi's in Westbury last October. I thought the hall was nice, nothing spectacular. The food was good though.
