Okay ladies dish . . .have you met with Michael? How are prices? Had him do your pics? Are you happy?

I met with him. He is very artistic. His pictures are beautiful.

I am not using him because I wanted a SoHo/ digitial album and they dont do that.

His price in my opion is high, but there are people on here that rave about his work.

We met with and liked Michael very much. We thought his prices were a bit high, though - higher than some NYC photographers we met with. His photos are beautiful - I'm sure you'd be happy with them. But, they didn't strike us as particularly candid or original - e.g., as we were looking through his albums, we saw a lot of the same (beautiful) 'artsy' photos that were meant to look like candids from many different weddings. Ultimately, we decided to go with someone who was more photojournalistic but, again, Michael's photos are beautiful.

I met with Michael and thought he was amazing. I wound up booking him. His photos are gorgeous and he has a second person going around taking candid pictures. He truly is an artist and takes his pictures very seriously. He really seemed to have an intimate relationship with each bride/child/father. He takes care in every photo. He was also one of the only photographers that had a stack of 800 proofs on his table for us to look at from a wedding he just did. It really allowed us to get a great feel for what we would expect to get back the day of our wedding. He is pricey but worth it and honestly not more so than the others we looked at (we looked at 4 photographers in total). If anything just check him out, he is definitely worth a look.

I love his work and based on what we have seen so far, I know our wedding pictures are going to be great. I loved the way our engagement pictures came out. It is true that it may be more expensive, but he is definitely worth it.

I booked them for my wedding and I absolutely loved his pics. He's very personable and very passionate about his work. When we booked him, he was only offering one package @ $4500. I'm not sure if he added more packages. I think he's def worth the money.

We used Michael last year at our wedding. Our proofs were amazing, as is our album. I shopped around and looked at about 8 photographers. Some were more expensive than Michael, some less. He is truly talented, not just a wedding photographer. He is an artist. Look at his site...

Several of our friends have booked North Island since our wedding and have been very happy.

I looked into him but he was too expensive. He quoyted me at 4500 for a 40 photo album, 2 p[arent albums and a box of proofs. His work wasn't that much different from the other photographers that I saw. Also, they don't do videos.
