Please recommend your rabbi!
I thought I was set but I'm not.Can you please send suggestions for a rabbi who will perform an interfaith wedding (solo no other officiant). Wedding is Aug. 31 in Patchogue. If you have pricing, that would be great too!

Re: Please recommend your rabbi!
We are using Rabbi Goor. He is located in Manhattan ( as am I) so I am not sure how far he is willing to travel. Out wedding is in New Rochelle, and he was OK with that distance. FM me if you want his contact info.

Re: Please recommend your rabbi!
Hi,I had really high hopes for Rabbi Ehrlich! I had read only good reviews here but then there was a post on The Knot that he canceled on this woman and her sister for the weddings and he was their growing up rabbi! I was still interested in meeting with him and we had a date for this past Tuesday. He called me Sunday to say something came up and he'd have to cancel our meeting. He said he'd call to reschedule and I have yet to hear from him so now I'm pretty much thinking he's flaky. Perhaps he'll call with a good reason for not getting back to me but my wedding is in Aug. and I need to get things wrapped up. I'm surprised because he was also highly recommended by two vendors as well. Sigh...

Re: Please recommend your rabbi!
I got married 2 years ago and used Rabbi Renee Feller - she was a bit pricey - but very easy to work with. I think her cost was $900 - that included her getting to & from the ceremony as well. She was coming from Manhattan to the Fox Hollow. But we had a good experience with her.

Re: Please recommend your rabbi!
I love my rabbi, shes not really mine, I'm just using her for one day lolRabbi Jill Hausman
We are having a Jewish wedding, although she does do interfaith.
She sings many of the prayers herself, she did a small sampling for us and it was delightful.
She charges $800 plus travel fees.

Re: Please recommend your rabbi!
We are working with Rabbi Feller also and she is Wonderful!! We love her and I'm sure she'll do an awesome job. Funny that someone mentioned Rabbi Diamond. He's my grandmother's Rabbi and a good friend of the family. We would have loved to have him perform the ceremony but FH is not Jewish and Rabbi Diamond is Orthodox. They are both wonderful though!!

rabbi applestone is doing our interfaith marriage ceremony - i'm nervous though b/c he didn't want to accept a deposit nor did he want to do a contract. at least we'll ahve a priest so worst case scenario the priest will do it/
