I know not everyone does. Trying to get a consensus if I should buy them to add to each setting on the tables.

I originally wanted to but decided not to, and now I'm thinking to buy them again. My favors are all done so what else am I going to do?

I did the same thing! The week before the wedding i thought 'hmmm i should give something else with our favor'. I ended up getting chiffon draw string bags from Michael's and i put four pieces of Hershey's Bliss Chocolates (2 milk, 2 dark). It cost about $30 to do it, but everyone loved them!

I like them and had them at my wedding... should have put a dental work disclaimer on them though... one of my guests cracked a tooth and so did I...

They are not my favorite candy in the world. I ususally just suck on it a little to getthe sugar and then spit out the almond part

Yes, I actually love them!!!
Either way I would have had to use them, since I'm 100% Italian and all...

We did something a little different with them. We bought organza flowers and popped the almonds in them... they really look pretty! Here is a pic. It's not the best since I took it with my phone.

I hate them but I don't like almonds period so my opinion is definitely biased.. I do know a lot of people love them though so I am not sure if I will get them or not!

No, I would do the jordan almonds only because FH and I are both Italian (I'm first generation Italian-American and he isn't).

MIchelle- I think there is like a cute poem or something that goes with them- I saw it at a wedding a while ago- it explains the tradition of why italians use 5 almonds- one is for love, and I forget the others - I swear I am braindead!

We are both Italian but we are not having them for two reasons:

1. I am allergic to almonds
2. I didn't want to spend the money on them

Most people throw them out.

Here is a cute poem someone posted on a thread a few weeks ago...

I had wanted to do the almond flowers but the ones I wanted were WAY too expensive so I just ended up doing them with tulle circles for a fraction of the cost.
