ROLLERS vs. CURLING IRON

Who likes which one better. I am a big fan of the hot rollers and want my hair to be done with hot rollers since i think the curling iron will make it look to harsh? Any ideas? pros? cons?
HELP!!!

I agree 100%. My hair looks too curled if that makes sense when i use the curling iron. I like the softer curl of the hot rollers.

Re: ROLLERS vs. CURLING IRON

My hair was done w/ a curling iron and my hairdresser told me there's really no difference. I was told that if you do curls with hot rollers that don't fall out but she told me they are the same and it doesn't matter. I have pics in my album if you want to see.

Re: ROLLERS vs. CURLING IRON

when they did mine she did iron and then what she does after is take the curl and pin it up and leaves it like that for a bit so the curl lasts longer...i went out after my trial and got home late and it was still curly

Re: ROLLERS vs. CURLING IRON

Mine has been done twice with the curling iron. I forget the exact kind the salon has but it does a really great job. I think the curls hold up really well when pinned until cooled and then smoothed.

Re: ROLLERS vs. CURLING IRON

I agree with the curling iron curls looking more pressed at times. My stylist used hot rollers for my trial.

Re: ROLLERS vs. CURLING IRON

hmmmm does my hair looked pressed i dont know she used curling iron but i think it depends on how much hair spray they use, its the hairspray that gives it that pressed look, and ALso depends on how much of your hair they curl for each strand when doing the iron.

I also think it depends on your hair, mine is so thin and soft and with rollers, it either wont even curl and i mean like nothing or the bottom flips just a little so doesnt work for me...so that might be a big factor

but this is my trial with an iron

Re: ROLLERS vs. CURLING IRON
