Round or Chubby Face Hair dos/don'ts

Any of you rounder faced or plus-sized girls have photos you care to share or tips about how to wear your hair on wedding day?

I don't know which looks more flattering, down or up.

I swear, I search google for terms like 'chubby bride' and 'BBW wedding' to see if there are any examples of hair styles and just overall looks that are slimming and find none.

I need to start a BBW Bride magazine or site. Ha ha!

I dont have any pics, but I think half up- half down would look beautiful.

all pulled back when i did my hair trial (it was vintage hair style) everyone said i looked fat so i know that doesn't work. I think it needs to be half up and down or just down.

my best hair style is half up half down.. but where you can see the hair pulled back... not to harsh, loose and natural...

i have yet to get a hair trial but i know i can NOT wear it all down or all up.
picture is waht i want to try to recreate, and alot of us girls have done so...

i have a very round face, i have pics in my album of how im wearing it from my trial but basically down and loose curls but part of it is pinned back

I have a very round face and I think I am doing half up, half down. . .probably parted the side, to make things look a little less symmetrical.

i have a very round face i will most likely wear my hair all up or with the front pulled back and down/curly on the sides and in the back. Here is one pic from a recent trial!

I have also noticed that the 'poof' uptop helps to balance out my round face. Give it a try

I think as long as your hair is not flat, it's okay. I wouldn't do pulled back tightly or straight, but if there's a little poofiness to an updo it would be okay. My personal preference is the half up half down with curls.

I've got some chubby cheeks myself and that is probably what I'll be doing. Haven't done any trials yet though.

I'm not a plus sized girl, BUT, I do have a round face and I think when my hair is up my ears look like two handles on either side of a pumpkin. I defintely think some hair DOWN is necessary to balance the look a bit.

You look so pretty - I htink you have a heart shaped face. It's not a big round ball like mine. Ha ha. You have definition - a nice chin.

Half up!!! I'm not plus size but my face is kind of round too, and i love half up with poof...it evens the face out more

haha i think b/c the pic was taken from up higher, i look like i have a slimmer face... here is another one where it looks fuller.... i think that the photographer will also know what kind of angles are best for you. address this question with your photographer. a good one will take your shape into consideration when posing for pictures!!!
