Re: sand castle/floral terrace free honeymoon to greece...

I believe you can take it any time, I dont think it expires, not positive though. I think you go to Crete right, I have seen the commercials for that hotel on Greek tv, its beautiful. You should call them to double check.

My sis is getting married at FT, and it needs to be utilized within one year of your wedding date.

Re: sand castle/floral terrace free honeymoon to greece...

I am getting married at Floral Terrace and we got the honeymoon to crete, greece. We are actually going to use it for our 1 yr. anniversary b/c we had other plans for our honeymoon. And no, I don't think the rh charged that much. It was pretty comparable to a lot of the big other halls. If anyone is interested in exact quotes you can fm me

They are closed for the winter months - I believe the best time to go to Greece is in the summer - we plan on using the free trip 7 mths after our wedding and going in June 08!!

THeir price is reasonable. They offer it because they own the hotel so that is an incentive to get you to book with them. I presonally didnt care for the hall because i would need the larger room and they have the vienese hour on 1/2 of the dance floor while your guests can dance on the other half. My personal opinion i dont want guests bumping into eachother who wants a desert and who is trying to dance

I don't think they include airfare in that...not that it makes a difference, a free honeymoon is a free honeymoon!

Actually i totally agree. All places SHOULD do that. We were able to book our wedding venue with our credit card (Amex) and the BM was so nice and she made sure to give us a full weeks worth of starwood property points so we can use them on our HM at the W resort & spa in the Maldives. It is becoming increasingly popular for wedding venues and halls to let you charge everything on your credit card and throw in points on it so you can utilize them on your HM.

It is not like that at Floral terrace. If you have the viennese hour it is outside of the ballroom and there is only 1 wedding there at a time.
