Satin Chair Sashes & Table Runners...

I just took these out of the box last night and they are all creased!! I ironed 4 of them until I realized I have 240 to do The 4 alone took me 30 min.

Anyone have any ideas how I can dot his faster? I tried a hand held steamer and it didnt work.. and I dont want to bring them to the dry cleaners bc im sure that would get expensive.

I have 11 days to do this and NO time this weekend

You think throwing them on a gentle cycle in the dryer would work?

im clueless!

i had table runners and brought them to a dry cleaner and they pressed them for me. it took barely 2 days and they did a great job!

Yeah I think i am going to take the table runners to them to do.. but the 200+ chair sashes I have im not going to..I have to figure out what to do with those.

Throw the chair sashes on a gentle cycle in teh dryer...they should be fine! Ummm and I can't eblieve we only have 11 days to go!!!

lay as many as you can in the bathroom and put the shower water on steaming hot - the steam should unwrinkle them

FH is trying one now as we speak.. He brought the table runners to the dry cleaners and they took money off becuase it was for our wedding. So nice!

Oh and I'm worried too... because I think we have the same sashes (someone on here recomended them and I feel like it was you.. but I can't go looking back to all those FM's!!). My suggestion start ironing early and hang them up after. I have soooooo many more to do!

The hand steamer doesnt work at all.. they need the pressure of the iron the creases are REALLY in there. At first I put the iron on really hot and put a thin towel over the chair sash and used steam as well.. now i just use the iron on a medium setting with no steam right on the sash. I dropped the table runners off at the dry cleaners to be pressed since I feel like if those are a little wrinkled you would notice it alot more thant he chair shashes..

Well now i have a reason to use my iron!!! AND something to do this weekend!! haha!!!

Hmm... now I have to figure out how to hang those suckers and store them. Maybe I should start in October?? Hmm. It's hard because you never know when you will have time. Things just jump out at you.

Sooo glad you told me about this!! I knew there were wrinkels... but i registered for the hand steamer and I was thinking I'd use that!
