I've heard its VERRRRRRRY expensive!!

Also I've heard that while the outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous if it rains you are pretty screwed because indoors is not very nice.

I think it depends on the time of yr...bc Im having a fall wedding and bc of that, the prices I was quoted were EXTREMELY low..like under $100 per person..and as low as $85 per person..

Ive heard great things from ppl who have been to weddings there BUT keep in mind if the weather isnt good, ur stuck inside which takes away the whole beach aspect of the place

The pricing depends upon day of the week, time of day, time of year and number of guests. For 2009, Sat. evening with 150 guests during the peak season was about $195 pp. There is no set menu. Within reason, you can do pretty much whatever you want.

As for the inside area, I wouldn't go so far as to say you're screwed if it rains (at least I hope not, since my wedding is there on Sat. and TS Danny is supposed to be arriving as an uninvited guest), but the draw/price is definitely the hope for beautiful beachy weather.

I agree with megs about the indoor space. While yes, you hope for great weather with a venue like this, that isn't always the case. I find the interior of The Crescent more laid back and casual then other RH's and I understand that isn't for everyone, but that's what FH and I wanted.
We're having our wedding on a Sunday (holiday weekend in Sept) with a min of 175 people and paying about $150 per person before tax and service charge, so like others said it depends on time of year, day of the week, and your minimum (plus there is a chance the price has increased from when we booked in 07).

Like meg mentioned there isn't a 'set menu' per say but they weren't as receptive as I thought they would be on some of the food requests we had (which I didn't think were out of line).

When we were originally calling places for quotes for our wedding 2 weeks ago CBC quoted us $185 for a Sat night and minimum of 150 ppl had to be guaranteed. I went to a friend's wedding there back in Oct of '06 & it was beautiful. But I would not pay that kind of money.

My fiance called to ask about minimums there (we are having about 65 people), and they literally laughed at him and said 'we do $20,000 weddings'. So yeah, very expensive.

I have pricing for spring and summer 2010--I actually had save the date deposit on Crescent Beach Club but decided against it in the end for a number of reasons, one being price.

One thing that surprised me (I forgot about this until now) was that we tried to negotiate with CBC and we were basically told no way because they could get someone for the actual price they were asking.

i dont know exact pricing. my brother got married there about 5 years ago and i know it was expensive back then.

however it was so pretty! they had the outside CH and pics on th ebeach and it was beautiful.

only con i didnt like was the bar isnt in the reception room and that caused guests to group up and hang out by the bar and not in the party

I was quoted $185 for a Saturday night in july 2010 with a min of 180 people - +tax +service charge - it took the price to $235 per person.

Don't get me wrong the private beach is beautiful!

This sounds a bit rude and pretentious of them to say!!!! I'd knock them off my list just for that!!
