wedding dress alterations

my wedding dress, as well as the bridesmaids dresses were purchased at davi'd bridal. HOWEVER, i refuse refuse refuse, to go back and get any alterations done due to the service there. i cannot stand them. ugh. so, i would appreciate any recommendations from anyone who used a taylor or anyone outside the store they purchased their gown from. i had asked at the bridal suite in centereach (where my mom got her dress and where we are getting the flower girl dress), if they would be able to do the alterations for us, but they said they can only do dresses purchased in their store

i live in islip but most of my girls are from the north fork - from the smithtown area to miller place. any recommendations?

I took my dress to Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point... they were great and always SO nice... i didnt buy my dress there, but wish i did!

Filomena Dressmaking in Coram!!!!!!!

She did my bridal gown and my BM gown for my best friend's wedding. I didn't know anyplace when I came to Long Island and soooo many people recommended her. She's awesome!

I'm using Phyllis from gownfind too! In fact, my appt is next week and most girls have told me that the bridal dress alterations will be under $150 or there about.

I purchased my dress and the girls dresses at Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point. My girlfriend who got married in Nov. bought her dress online and then took it there to have the alterations. She was very pleased....since you are getting married at Vineyard Caters it is not too far.....
