What to buy the Koumbaro and Koumbara?

I have NO idea what to get them...

The Koumbaro is Soto's older brother and the Koumbara is my best friend

Good question, I have to start thinking about that also, its usually something really nice and expensive bec they will be doing soo much for you and your wedding. Maybe a nice piece of jewelry??

yea expensive, but how expensive?

If they were a married couple maybe i could have invested ina nice lladro or something lol

LLadro is a really really nice gift. Swarovski has some really beautiful pieces as well

In a Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony, they are the ones who 'crown' you or marry you, I believe in Catholic (italian) weddings the goumbari play a big part as well

they aren't a couple or married. so thats out of the question.

so im stumped. plus w/ my best friend we have issues on our Bdays and Xmas with buyin each other gifts lol so this will be even harder...As for the Koumbaro-i'll have FH worry bout that but of course i have 2 approve.

my mom said watches?

its basically the orthodox version of best man and maid of honor. But they do a little more than a BM or MOH would do, just a little bit

We were thinking of maybe doing matching movado watches because its my cousin and her husband. Other then that unless we do a LLadro piece for the 2 I am pretty much stumped

Yes...in Italy they do not have a bridal party...it's just the 'testimone' (witness) like our best man and maid/matron of honor. They sign the marriage license along with the bride and groom and priest once the ceremony is finished.
They also have a flower girl and ring bearer.
