wine cork place card holders

hi guys! i was wondering if anyone had directions on how to make the wine cork place card holders? have 5 days to go and i kept putting these off! nothing like waiting till the last minute tia!

I don't have directions but i would assume you slit it and stick the card in it.

I don't have directions but i would assume you slit it and stick the card in it.

That is what I would think too..if you find they are rolling, you might need to flatten the bottom, by maybe sanding or sawing it a little?

i saw cute ones that were actually two corks glued (?) together so as to eliminate the rolling and then the card was actually 'stuck' in between the two corks. good idea if you have enough cork. otherwise, i guess you could just slit them down the long side and maybe stick something into the bottoms to keep them still.
