can anyone suggest a theme for the wishing well at a bridal shower...

i had a naughty-themed wishing well....they put this poem on the wishing well and included it in the invites to let everyone know what kinds of gifts to buy....
'For a wishing well gift for the bride,
Let's bring out her wild side!
We'll make Lori sexy wife,
To start off her married life!'

Some of the gifts were hysterical!
But it all depends on the bride, and the crowd.....luckily, I have a sick family - and even my grandmother appreciated the humor of it!

Theme my family usually uses is a kitchen item that starts with the same letter as your first initial. That usually helps prevent too many duplicates.

I usually bring a potato peeler, pizza cutter or I bundle pepper, paprika and parsley jars together.

For baby shower it's baby items and I bring a pacifier.

My shower's theme was Hawaiin Honeymoon and my bridal party sent separate cards with the invites saying to bring something for the honeymoon for the wishing well - so I got suntan lotions, beach towels, things like that - and it was a lot more fun than the normal household stuff!

Time theme. In the invite they would get a time. Say you got 7am, you could get cereral, coffee, mug, toothpaste

i went to a shower last month and the theme was candles- this girl had enough candles to last her for a very very long time- but cute idea if the bride likes candles!
