Wishing Well Themes

Hi Ladies,

I am planning a bridal shower, and am having a wishing well. Does anyone have any theme ideas? I wanted to do something a little different...

Re: Wishing Well Themes

How about a 'Honeymoon' Wishing well...

Sun Tan Lotions or block, lingerie. underwater disposable camera's, a bottle of champagne, flip-flops for the couple, maybe personalized towels....etc

Re: Wishing Well Themes

I recently got two invites with different wishing well themes.
One was Christmas Ornaments for the wishing well and the other was a bottle of wine for the 'wine tower'.

Re: Wishing Well Themes

You could do a BBQ one where everyone brings stuff for a cookout. You could do a seasons one where everyone brings something for each of the seasons or a holiday one.
You could do a time of the day one and assign each guest a time of day.. so for 7am you could bring a bag of coffee or coffe mugs...
You could do an alphabet one and assaign everyone a letter of the alphabet.
I read that some one put that so and so's well had been filled but please bring a tool to fill FH toolbox with.

I got a BBQ wishing well.....my hubby LOVED it & we use the stuff all the time!!!

For my friend we did a 'stock the bar' and people brought wine/liquor & all sorts of drinking related things.

Re: Wishing Well Themes

You can also do a wishing well that has a bar theme to stock up their bar. My FSIL was telling me about a shower where everyone bought holiday decorations (Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving etc..) for the wishing well and she said that everyone loved it.

Re: Wishing Well Themes

They did a Scratch off Wishing well type thing for us...

In lieu of the Wishing well, each person had to bring a Scratch of Lotto Ticket...

We won 200!!!!!

Extra money to put towards the wedding...

Just an idea.

Re: Wishing Well Themes

we actually just did an ABC theme for the wishing well at my friends shower (LB & DC to be exact!). We put a note with a circled letter of the alphabet with every invitation and they had to buy something that started with that letter. some bought things off her registry or other things they picked up.

i love the wine idea or what about a holiday theme? that might be hard to get stuff for the different holidays.

i did a search online and found websites with different themes. maybe you should try that too! good luck!

Re: Wishing Well Themes

They had a holiday themed 'clothes line' for me. It was so nice and creative. Everything was hung up around the room on a clothes line. It was great. I am covered for the holidays now!!!
