Has anyone ever seen a tuxedo with a BLACK shirt instead of White?

My girls BM dresses are a very pretty shade of light blue, and I was thinking that the groomsmen could have a black tux, Black shirt with matching sky blue satin tie and vest underneath....as opposed to the traditional White shirt with colored tie and vest.......

Has anyone ever seen this or seen any pictures of it??

I thought it would look great b/c a lot of my groomsmen have dark hair and light eyes....and the Black shirt/ Light Blue tie and vest contrast would look great.

What do you think? The wedding is in Early March.

I have seen it before, but I can't recall where. A tux place should have things for you to look at though. I would suggest trying it on to see how it all flows together but it could be really nice.

I've seen it before. The people I've seen wearing it had white ties though. Anyway I think that the black shirt makes it look nicer actually. I'm a huge fan of the tux with a black shirt and punch of color.

FH is wearing a really nice black suit, with black shirt and white and black striped tie... his BM is wearing a black suit, black shirt and tie to match my girls dresses.

I'm thinking of getting FH some white suspenders for when he takes his jacket off at the reception since he isn't wearing a vest..I think that will look really classy.

He're a pic, its kinda crappy but the only one I have...not the tie we're going with though, but FH won't put the suit on again till the wedding

Yes i love the look and my guys are doing it!! I've named the my 'men in black' and they all love the look! Except instead of white ties theyre wearing wine colored ties.

its what exactly i am doing but with a green tie.. all black. After Hours has it.. honestly most tux places should be able to acomodate.

MY FH wants his 2 best men to wear blacks shirt so they look different than the GM. Beware that Mens Warehouse does not rent black shirts. So our best men will have to buy black shirts to wear with the tux. We might not even use Mens Warehouse anymore. We will check out some other tux places.

FH and all of the groomsman are wearing black tuxes and black shirts. I think it looks good together, with just a little bit of color.

I have seen it before and that is what we are doing!!!!
My FH is wearing black tux, black shirt, ivory vest and tie and the GM are wearing black tux, black shirt, cinnamon vest and tie. It looks awesome together!!!!!!

This is my inspiration picture too! I love this look. My BM dress are dark fuchsia with a black sash and the GM's will wear black tux, black shirt/vest and a fuchsia and black striped tie.
